The main directorates of SERMIG report to the Dirección Nacional. The directorates are: Operaciones; Gestión de Datos; Territorio e Inclusión; Administración y Finanzas; Jurídica; and the Subdirección Nacional. Each one of them is in charge of different departments and units.

Regional Directorates
The Direcciones Regionales (Regional Directorates) are responsible for the institutional representation of the Servicio Nacional de Migraciones (SERMIG) in the region, to encourage the regular status of the migrant population, ensuring compliance with immigration regulations, promoting the development of citizen service initiatives and the promotion of rights and duties of the immigrant community.
